The Code of Ethics guides our employees in resolving dilemmas during audits and complaint handling
The effectiveness of the audit and the handling of complaints depends, first and foremost, on the personal example set by the Office of the State Comptroller and Ombudsman. The higher the moral status of this institute, the greater the public trust in it. This is an essential condition for a thorough, comprehensive audit and complaints handling.
The purpose of the Code of Ethics is to provide the employees of the Office of the State Comptroller and Ombudsman with clear criteria to resolve the dilemmas they might come across when performing their daily tasks in light of the values that will guide them in the course of audit work and handling of complaints.
