The State Comptroller and Ombudsman, through his office, is in charge of the work of the State Audit, the Office of the Ombudsman, the Legal Department and the Unit of Spokesmanship & Digital.  

Under the State Comptroller, the office's Director General is responsible for the activity of seven divisions - five audit divisions and two professional divisions and the departments under them.    

  • The Local Government Division is in charge of five audit departments and the Department for Auditing the Elections and Party Financing.

  • The Defense Establishment Division is in charge of five audit departments. 

  • The Social & Welfare Division is in charge of five audit departments. 

  • The Division of Economics & National Infrastructures is responsible for five audit departments.

  • The Division of Government Ministries & Institutions is in charge of six audit departments - including departments related to information systems and cyber.

  • The Head of the Office of the Ombudsman is in charge of the Ombudsman Staff, nine departments, three regional bureaus and the Ombudsman Legal Department.

  • The Staff Division is in charge of the Planning, Strategy and Control Department, the Department for  Professional Support, the Training & Organizational Development Department, the Digital Technologies and Information Department and the Accounting Department.    

  • The Human Capital & Administration is in charge of human capital, the Department of Procurement, Assets & Logistics and the Department of Security, Safety, Emergencies & Cyber.
