The Ombudsman within the State Comptroller's Office has reactivated its hotline—a special service for individuals facing difficulties in exercising their rights or needing assistance from public bodies due to the state of emergency.
The hotline operates Sunday through Thursday, from 08:00 to 17:00, by phone at 02-6665199 and via WhatsApp at 050-3995422.
The hotline is intended solely for complaints related to the state of emergency. Complaints against public bodies may also be submitted through the online form on the website of the State Comptroller and Ombudsman, as well as through additional channels. Complaints may be submitted in any language, including Hebrew, Arabic, Russian, Amharic, and English.
Commission staff continue to go out into the field during these days to assist evacuees returning to their homes in the north and south, as well as residents affected by Operation “Rising Lion” who are facing bureaucratic difficulties.
State Comptroller and Ombudsman Matanyahu Englman stated: “Alongside the critical military effort in Iran, it is essential to provide proper and rapid support to the citizens of Israel. The missile strikes show that the entire country is a front, and all government ministries must assist civilians – proactively as well. I call on ministries to open emergency hotlines and to respond to citizens’ requests quickly and efficiently. In this time of emergency, public sector employees play a vital role in maintaining civilian resilience.”
Currently, the Ombudsman is not offering in-person services at its offices. The hotline operates Sunday through Thursday, from 08:00 to 17:00, at Tel. No. 02-6665199 and via WhatsApp at 050-3995422
