During the 65th EUROSAI Governing Board meeting in Rome, at the conclusion of Mr. Matanyahu Englman's term as State Comptroller of Israel and President of EUROSAI, members of the Governing Board expressed their appreciation for his leadership, vision and dedication throughout his presidency.

At the conclusion of the meeting, Auditors-General and senior representatives of Supreme Audit Institutions from across Europe gave Mr. Englman a standing ovation in recognition of his significant contribution to EUROSAI throughout his term.

Auditors-General and senior representatives from Spain, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Norway, Italy, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Lithuania, Slovakia, Estonia and Malta, together with senior representatives of the European Court of Auditors, Austria and Germany, expressed their appreciation for his efforts to strengthen cooperation among Supreme Audit Institutions and partner organizations worldwide, promote innovative auditing approaches, and lead EUROSAI into the era of artificial intelligence.

Members of the Governing Board also acknowledged the impact of his presidency in enhancing EUROSAI’s international standing, fostering professional collaboration across the European audit community, and creating new opportunities for knowledge-sharing and professional excellence among Supreme Audit Institutions.
