EUROSAI President and State Comptroller and Ombudsman of Israel, Mr. Matanyahu Englman, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Romanian Court of Accounts, headed by Ms. Mirela Călugăreanu.
The new MoU aims to establish and enhance a framework for effective cooperation and interaction between the parties in the field of public sector auditing. It is based on the principles of equality and mutual benefit, and adheres to the respective national laws, rules and regulations of each party.

During his visit to Bucharest, Mr. Englman also met with Mr. Sorin Grindeanu, President of the Chamber of Deputies, and Mr. Mircea Abrudean, President of the Senate.
Mr. Englman stated: "I want to thank Ms. Mirela Călugăreanu and her team for their warm hospitality. I look forward to our continued fruitful cooperation".
