State Comptroller Matanyahu Englman and his staff held a tour at Israel Aerospace Industries in December 2023. The tour was led by company Chairman Amir Peretz and CEO Boaz Levy. The director of the Defense Division in the Office of the State Comptroller, Brig. Gen. (res.) Eitan Dahan, and his staff also participated in the tour along with members of the executive of Israel Aerospace Industries. The comptroller received a survey of Israel Aerospace Industries' activity since the beginning of the war and the enlistment of the company and its employees in contributing to the war effort. He also toured the company's factories in the fields of armaments and space satellites.
Comptroller Englman: "The State of Israel has been blessed with significant defense industries, including Israel Aerospace Industries. In the tour that we held, we witnessed the strength of the industry and we learned about various challenges during the war. Among the many audit tasks on issues related to the war, we will examine the issue of maintaining local Israeli production during emergency situations."
