Complaint Form

Submitting complaints to the Ombudsman

As outlined in the Basic Law: The State Comptroller, only complaints regarding bodies subject to audit by the Office of the State Comptroller may be submitted. Such bodies include: government ministries, local authorities, State factories and institutions, State companies and the employees of such bodies.

Before filling in the form, please read through the Frequently Asked Questions section of the Guide to Filing a Complaint. Questions such as the following appear therein: What constitutes a reason to complain? What is the time limit regarding filing a complaint?

When looking through the list of bodies appearing on the website, please take into consideration the fact that the list is dynamic and continuously updated. Consequently, and because the list includes more than 1,000 agencies, among which are bodies that are at present or have been in the past subject to the State Comptroller, some inaccuracies may be found. The list is intended to provide general information to the public only; it is not to be construed as a legally binding document and the Office of the State Comptroller is not responsible for any mistakes that it may inadvertently contain (for more information, see Website Terms of Use).

Comments about possible errors in the list as well as any other comments are welcome.

Complaints can be submitted to the Ombudsman in a number of ways:

1. Fill in the online form and press ‘send’ to submit it electronically.

2. Send an email message to ombudsman@mevaker.gov.il
