According to State Comptroller Engelman, "On the tragic Saturday, October 7, residents of the Gaza Envelope were targeted by Hamas terrorists. The IDF was engaged in combat and simultaneously, civilian government ministries were tasked with providing immediate assistance and care to Gaza Envelope residents who lost their homes due to extremely challenging events. This assistance was also intended for residents of conflict zones in the south and north who were displaced from their homes. I have contacted the relevant ministers to ensure immediate and effective assistance for the Gaza Envelope evacuees.
