The State Comptroller Hosted Representatives from the European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (4.4.23)

The heads of international relations at the audit institutions of the EUROSAI Governing Board discussed, the strategic plan which is due to enter into force when State Comptroller Englman takes office as President of the European organization in 2024

The heads of the international relations from the audit institutions who are members of the Governing Board of EUROSAI (the European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions) arrived last week (26-29.3.23) for a series of meetings at the Office of the State Comptroller and Ombudsman in Jerusalem.

The representatives from the European audit institutions convened to plan the next meeting of the Organization's Governing Board which is due to be held in Lithuania in June – and to promote the formulation of the Organization's future strategic plan for 2024-2030. 

The strategic plan will enter into force when State Comptroller and Ombudsman, Matanyahu Englman, takes office as President of EUROSAI in May 2024.

During the visit, the European representatives met with State Comptroller Englman, who gave them an extensive survey of his office's activity. They also met with representatives from the Office of the State Comptroller and its Director-General, and received surveys from the heads and deputies of the divisions.
