Between 23-25/7/23 a team from the UK NAO visited the office of the State Comptroller in Jerusalem, as part of the Peer Consultation process the UK NAO is conducting with the US GAO on SAI Israel.
The Peer Consultation process is focusing on financial aspects of the audit.
During the visit the UK NAO team met with the State Comptroller and Ombudsman, Mr. Matanyahu Englman, with the CEO, Mr. Yishai Vaknin, and with auditors from SAI Israel.
The Auditors presented selected audit reports, and the Economic Advisor to the State Comptroller presented the methodology for financial audit and for international comparison.
