State Comptroller Matanyahu Englman met with the Minister of Economy and Industry, Nir Barkat, as part of the meetings being held with the ministers of the 37th Government. At the meeting the Comptroller presented the Minister with the products of the audit during the past two years and the State audit plan concerning the Ministry of Economy and Industry for the coming years.
State Comptroller Englman: "The Ministry of Economy and Industry has great influence over dealing with the cost of living, the cancellation of import blocks and increasing competition in the market. I am hopeful that Minister Barkat will act to rectify the defects and adopt the recommendations of the State Comptroller's reports in the matters of his ministry for the sake of all citizens of Israel".
