The State Comptroller and Ombudsman Met with the Minister of Construction and Housing (20.4.23)

State Comptroller Englman: "The Minister of Construction and Housing faces one of the most significant challenges for all citizens of Israel - providing a solution for young couples and dealing with the cost of housing alongside arranging public housing"

State Comptroller Matanyahu Englman met with the Minister of Construction and Housing, Yitzhak Goldknopf, as part of the meetings being held with the ministers of the 37th Government. At the meeting, the Comptroller presented the Minister with the products of the audit in the past two years and the State audit plan concerning the Ministry of Construction and Housing for the coming years. 

State Comptroller Englman: "The Minister of Construction and Housing faces one of the most significant challenges for all citizens of Israel - providing a solution for young couples and dealing with the cost of housing alongside arranging public housing. Therefore, I attach great importance to the publication of reports in matters concerning the Ministry and I am certain that the Minister will lead the rectification of the defects and adopt the recommendations of the Comptroller's reports".

The Minister of Construction and Housing, Yitzhak Goldknopf: "The work of the Comptroller is challenging and important.
