The State Comptroller Met with Students from "Eshel HaNasi" in Be'er Sheba as part of the "Meet the Comptroller" Project (31.1.23)

State Comptroller Matanyahu Englman met with students from the Excellence Class at the "Eshel HaNasi" school in Be'er Sheba and gave a survey of the audit activity and the Office of the Ombudsman

Today (31.1.23) State Comptroller Matanyahu Englman hosted students from the Excellence Class at the "Eshel HaNasi" school in Be'er Sheba at the Office of the State Comptroller as part of the "Meet the Comptroller" project.

The Comptroller gave a survey of the audit activity and the Office of the Ombudsman and told the students that he was pleased to see the interest they showed in the Office's important work. Comptroller Englman placed emphasis in his remarks on the special report concerning protecting minors in the digital space, which was published this year, and audit of a social nature.

One of the students asked the Comptroller how he could join the Office of the State Comptroller as an employee, because "It is noticeable that this is highly interesting job", as he defined it. The Comptroller described the employment diversity he has been espousing at the Office during recent years and clarified that employees are recruited to the Office through public tenders and, as a rule, after they have completed a master's degree. He summed up that "Working at the Office of the State Comptroller requires extraordinary abilities of learning and investigating, and I would be happy to see you working at the Office one of these days".
