The State Comptroller Met with the National Parents' Leadership Council (March 15, 2022)

The State Comptroller emphasized the importance of the meeting and the ongoing activity of the national parents' leadership, as the representative body of millions of parents and students in the State of Israel

The National Parents' Council convened for a special meeting with the State Comptroller, Matanyahu Englman, and the staff of the Office on Tuesday (March 15, 2022).

In the meeting, the State Comptroller reviewed the report that his Office prepared on the topic of child protection and safety online. The Comptroller also reviewed the methodology of Office of the State Comptroller reports, mainly on educational issues, and emphasized the importance of the meeting and the ongoing activity with the national parents' leadership, as the representative body of millions of parents and students in the State of Israel.

The Comptroller also related to the importance inherent in the Ministries of Education, Welfare and Public Security and the police working to examine the recommendations in the report and to rectify deficiencies.

Merom Shiff, chairperson of the National Parents' Council, thanked the State Comptroller for the important meeting and expressed the willingness of the national parents' leadership's members to help in any way with the welcome work of the Office of the State Comptroller.
