In celebration of the Office of the Ombudsman's jubilee year, on 1.12.2021 the Office will host an online international conference on the subject of older people. The conference will be opened by Mr. Isaac Herzog, President of the State, Mr. Mickey Levy, Speaker of the Knesset and Mr. Matanyahu Englman, State Comptroller and Ombudsman, and will be attended by ombudsmen from across the globe.
The conference is being held under the auspices of the International Ombudsman Institute and the Association of Mediterranean Ombudsmen.
Dr. Esther Ben-Haim, Head of the Office of the Ombudsman, will address the participants and Dr. Kira Radinsky, CTO and founder of "Diagnostic Robotics", will give a lecture on tools for predicting the future. A panel of experts will discuss the challenges facing older people and the handling of complaints.
