The Future of Auditing: Representatives from the office of the State Comptroller attended an international, young auditors' conference (12-15 of September)

Auditors from around the world discussed experimental, more efficient auditing methods at the YES conference, held in Stockholm

Representatives from the Israeli Office of the State Comptroller and Ombudsman attended the YES Conference for young auditors from around the world held last week (12-15 of September) in Stockholm, Sweden.  

The Swedish comptroller, Mrs. Helena Lindberg, hosted representatives of the European Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (EUROSAI) member states and a number of representatives from member states of the Asian Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ASOSAI) and the Arab Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions (ARABOSAI). 

The Israeli Office of the State Comptroller was represented by Hilit Milwidsky from the Social Welfare Division and Tal Arbeli from the Economic Departments Division.  

The participants discussed the present and future role of auditing, experimental methods of auditing and opportunities to increase efficiency based on assimilation of digital tools and learning from others.
